Awards and Recognition

Cummins was recently awarded the Corporation of the Year Award for the 2nd year in row by the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC).  The honor was bestowed to Cummins at the Mid-States MSDC Annual Dinner Celebration held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis, Indiana.

MSDUK council awards Cummins 2014 Corporation of the Year Award. The week also included an Awards Recognition dinner and ceremony.  Sponsors included Cummins, IBM, Coco-Cola and other MSD UK corporate members.

Cummins Receives the 2013 MSDC Corporation of the Year Award. Cummins was recently recognized for its achievements in supplier diversity, when the Mid-State Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC) awarded Cummins the Corporation of the Year Award during its annual awards banquet.

Cummins was recognized by Chrysler Group as its 2012 Sustainability Supplier of the Year during the company’s 2012 Annual Strategy Meeting and Supplier Awards Ceremony at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.

Cummins was named Corporation of the Year in 2012 by Minority Supplier Development China, which links large corporations and ethnic minority-owned businesses. In the United Kingdom, Cummins was runner up for "Corporation of the Year" by Minority Supplier Development U.K.

Cummins was named one of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity by DiversityInc magazine for a seventh consecutive year in 2013. Cummins ranked 15th, up from 18th in 2012.

The Company was named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute for a sixth consecutive year in 2013. The institute evaluates companies on ethical leadership, compliance practices and corporate responsibility.

Cummins Inc. was awarded a perfect score in the 2013 Corporate Equality Index by the Human Rights Campaign, the largest U.S. civil rights organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.
